I can’t let my coverage of Lights Out 7 go without mentioning the fact that I got to not only meet but hang out with one of my hero’s, Mike Finnegan from Roadkill. Meeting him was cool enough, but as luck would have it he ended up sitting beside us in the stands so we got to hang out with him for the majority of the day. We picked his brain about Roadkill projects, our projects, just whatever came up, it is safe to say he is definetly just one of the guys! Very down to earth! No need for orange caution tape if you know what I mean! Anway, if for some reason you have been living under a rock and do not know what Roadkill is, check it out below!
My ugly mug with Mike.
One with Mike and my father in law.
As we sat in the stands during the course of the day, I watched person after person walk up and ask for a photo, all were met with a smile and a free Roadkill sicker! Here’s Mike and a little Roadkill fan!
Thanks again Mike for taking the time to talk to us! Your a class act all the way!! Roadkill FTW!!!!

I think its safe to say that today is probably the greatest day in Southeastern Foxbodies history! We had several members cars shot to go in 5.0 magazine, we had over 150 cars on the foxbody cruise, several members took home awards in the car show, and we gave away Save-A-Fox and raised a ton of money for three awesome charities in the process! I have much more footage to come from today including probably an hours worth of video but I wanted to get a little teaser out there!
Here are some photos from the early morning photo shoot including three cars going in the magazine including Save-A-Fox, a nice little yellow t-top coupe, and one nasty coyote powered GT. The rest of the shots are just the onlookers. I also believe a certain Roush powered foxbody got a few shots taken but I wasn’t there for that!
I’ve got a ton of Foxbody cruise pictures and video’s, but I’m going to tease those for a little while! I will share the new sticker though! I don’t have the official count but there was over 140 foxbodies in the cruise! Plus around 20 non-foxes!
There were several award winners today at the car show, I tried my best to get pictures of everyone but I know I missed a few!
Again sorry to those I missed!!
Also Save-A-Fox was given away to a lucky individual in Nebraska! If you live in Nebraska and bought tickets online then check your phone for a voicemail!
I got out early this morning to see what the 5.0 dyno challenge was all about. I gotta say I hope this is one event that finds a permanent spot on the Mustang Week schedule. There was a big crowd there to spectate and there was some nasty Mustangs going across the Pro-Dyno rollers! I’ll have some video up next week so be sure and check back!
