All right day one is in the books at Barrett-Jackson, lets take a look at how our cars to watch did on Thursday.
2012 Shelby GT500 Mustang: $500,000 (Money raised for Wounded Warrior’s Family Support)
1957 Lincoln Continental: $700,000 (Money raised for the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital)
1970 Chevy Camaro Z28: $35,200 Surprised this one didn’t bring more money!
1979 Chevy Camaro Z28: $12,870
1950 Ford F1: $35,200
1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1: $23,650
1953 Packard Clipper: $25,300
1987 Buick Grand National: $26,400
2008 Shelby GT Mustang: $45,100 Pretty strong money, I’m not sure what these sold for to begin with but it couldn’t have been much more than that.
1969 Chevrolet Corvette: $50,050 No deal here as I had predicted, fifty grand is strong money for a non-original motor car.

This Brad Keselowski #2 car is from his 2012 Championship season, and possibly one of the last Dodge’s to ever race in NASCAR at least in this era. This will benefit the NASCAR foundation and should bring some big money for charity.
Tremec, LS1, air ride, this restomod is as good as it gets. Top goes down, price goes up!
How cool is this old Harley Davidson, I have no idea what it’s worth, but it sure is cool!
I love the black on primer look, just not sure if it will sell or not, guess we will see!
I’m not a big fan of the looks of this car, but I’m curious if it brings any money or not, definitely a unique piece!
Any two seater Jeep is cool, I’ll never understand why Jeep doesn’t make one from the factory!
This is a cool car but otherwise worthless without the Lemans history. Could be a cool piece of racing history pretty cheap!
I love this thing, my idea of a street rod, big and low!
This should prove an interesting piece, a Yenko clone, but it was also in one of the Fast and Furious movies.
I’m a fan of a straight eight to begin with, but how cool is this Pontiac Sedan Delivery! Has to be a very rare piece!

Here are our top ten cars to watch for the day!
Charity cars are always hot at Barrett-Jackson and for good reason! This GT500 will go to benefit the Wounded Warriors Family Support.
Another charity ride, this 1957 Lincoln is going to raise money for the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.
1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. A very nicely optioned 70 Z, we had the mate to this car a few years ago in our garage only with an M21 instead of an M22. I know what we sold ours for, I bet this one goes for a lot more!
Another Z28, these 1979 models have been hot at shows I’ve been to, especially 4-speeds. This car should set or maybe reset the market on them.
F1’s always have a special place in my heart, this 1950 is no exception.
King of The Hill, the ZR1. Always been a bucket list car of mine!
Gotta love an old Packard. This 1953 Clipper appears to be all original, although I’m not sure what the value is or how big the market is for something like this.
The Buick Grand National, the car that might be credited for bringing back the Muscle Car along side the Foxbody Mustangs of the late 80’s. This low mile example should be a good sign whether those people hording these cars in their garage should keep up the hording, or start driving them!
Be interesting to see if this Barrett-Jackson Mustang really is anything special on resale, or if its just another one of the hundreds of “special edition” Mustangs we’ve saw over the past 6 or 7 years.
Going on Thursday this car could end up being steal of the show. Other than the incorrect 454 engine this Vette has all the right options to fetch big money.
Well that’s all for the day! Be sure and check back tomorrow for more cars to watch!
