Lot 7004 is a 1997 Chevrolet Monte Carlo “Intimdator” Show Car. Built in honor of Dale Earnhardt, the car was a sort of prototype to future Monte Carlo styling. This car has been in the GM Heritage Collection. This is definitely a one of a kind piece!

NASCAR Picks: Michigan

Pick-A-Winner

31st? Really? I was sure Marcos Ambrose was a LOCK for a top ten last week! Oh well there goes my average taking another hit, down to 13.23. To see all my picks and averages for the year, CLICK HERE.

This week I’m going with Kasey Khane. He had a good run going at the last Michigan race and has been on the verge of breaking out big. Its chase time and time to go or go home.

Yahoo Fantasy Sports Picks

Last week still turned out to be a decent week on Yahoo Fantasy Sports for me. My a driver Brad Keselowski came home 2nd, one of my b drivers, Juan Pablo Montoya came home in 5th, and while Ambrose came home 31st  he still scored me a nice laps lead bonus and a qualifying bonus. My C driver Max Papis came home a solid 15th to round out the effort.

This week as I mentioned earlier my A driver is Kasey Khane, on the B team I’ve got Dale Jr. and Greg Biffle. On my C team I’ve got Austin Dillon who will be driving Tony Stewart’s car this week. Austin ran strong at Michigan at the last race here and should carry that momentum over into Tony’s car.

NASCAR Picks: Michigan

Pick-A-Winner

Last week’s pick Jeff Gordon let me down a little bit with a 12 place run. But still he pretty much kept my average the same at 11.57. This week in Michigan I’m going with the popular pick, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Dale ran second at California, he’s won twice at Michigan, and almost won last week at Pocono. I think its once again time for Junior Nation to stand up and celebrate!

I fared decent last week with Jeff Gordon coming home 12th, Logano and Newman 10th and 5th, and Casey Mears 22nd. But I need wins! This week I’m gonna get one! For my a team I’ve got Denny Hamlin starting. He’s good at Michigan and has been running very strong lately. He might just be a contender to win this thing as well. My pick to win Dale Jr will start my B team off, followed by Greg Biffle who has been running strong as of late. Not to mention the Roush cars always run good at Michigan, Biffle could also be a dark horse favorite to win the race. On my C team I’m going with Trevor Bayne. Coming off a big win last weekend in Iowa he should carry some momentum to the cup side this weekend.
