For Sale: 1971 MG Midget

1971 MG Midget. Runs and drives excellent. Weber carb, interior very nice, nice top. Paint is a 7 out of 10. Has a few minor scratches that have been touched up. This thing is like an oversized go cart. It handles great and is a blast to drive. It has some sort of performance exhaust on it so it has a nice throaty sound to it.

Asking $6500 obo. Call 828-421-4018 NO TEXT MESSAGES

  1. Can you tell me more about the Midget. The original engines were painted medium green. Is this the 1098cc or 1275cc engine? Do you know if all engine and drive train are original? Carbs? And, by the way, I drove one of these little “go karts” in Mid-Ohio 40 years ago and had a better track time than any Corvette or Shelby. If it’s tuned right, and with the right suspension, it’s usually faster than the big bore sports cars because they have to brake for corners and these just drift through. And I guess the biggest question is: Do you still have it?

    • We do, its my fathers car, he would be more suited to answer your questions. I know it has a weber carb on it, but I’m not sure about the rest. Give him a call, 828-421-4018, his name is Willard.
