Mustang Week 2013 Recap

2013 Mustang Week is in the books and I’d have to say it was one of the most fun and successful ever! Lets take a look back at our coverage from the week! In each blog entry you will find a link to hundreds of pictures from that day!

Saturday 7-13

We rolled into town with a pretty easy trip down, just a little 501 traffic, but nothing major.

Sunday 7-14

Sunday is always a quiet day at the beach. But in 2013 there were more cars arriving early than ever! We didn’t do much, just hung around the hotel and enjoyed the ocean!

Finally Mustang Week is officially here! The Meet and Greet was packed within minutes of opening up.  I don’t know how many cars were there but it had to be 400-500.

Thursday 7-18

It was an earlier than usual morning on Thursday to check the 1st Annual 5.0 Magazine Dyno Challenge out behind the mall. There was some big power being put down with the winner going into the four digit range! Check out that nasty black Saleen below!

I didn’t make it out to Darlington so I don’t have any pictures from drag night! Sorry!

Thursday night was the annual Southeastern Foxbodies Pizza Party for its members. This year the party was sponsored by the good folks over at Fox Mustang Restoration. Be sure and check them out for all your Foxbody needs!

Saturday 7-20

The end of the line for Mustang Week 2013! Saturday was a busy day from photos shoots to the fox body cruise to the cruise in to the Save-A-Fox giveaway!

I headed out early Saturday morning to join some of my fellow SEFB members for a little photo shoot with Mr. Turner.

We had 143 Foxbodies at the cruise on Saturday plus about 20 non-foxes!

I didn’t take a ton of pictures at the cruise in but CLICK HERE to see them!

That cruise in brought Mustang Week 2013 to an end! But keep reading! There is more coverage!

Each year at Mustang Week and most other events that I cover I usually don’t edit my pictures at first. I’m not out there taking pictures to get the perfect shot, I’m out there to taking pictures to make those who aren’t there feel like they were! But after things settle down I do like to play around with some shots. Check them out below!
