Jeff Gordon

Jeff Gordon donated a car out of his personal collection, a rare Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo, the street version of his famous #24 Dupont race car to be auctioned off along with an actual #24 race car. This car was auctioned at a prior auction for $500,000. The winner Ron Pratt re-donated the car to be auctioned off again. Both cars brought $350,000 dollars for AARP’s Drive To End Hunger.

Ray Evernham

One of the coolest cars to go across the auction block in Scottsdale was Ray Evernham’s “For-Ply”. A 1964 Plymouth Belvedere customized and built by Ray himself. The car was auctioned off for charity to benefit IGNITE which supports young adults with high-functioning autism or Asperger’s syndrome. Rey’s son Ray J is one of many individuals who have Asperger’s. This car brought $180,000 dollars with Ron Pratt throwing in $100,000 dollars bringing the total to $280,000.
